Dental Care Experience
After earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cal Poly, SLO, Dr. DeFont received his dental degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He went on to complete his general practice residency at the Veteran’s Hospital in Long Beach. After residency, Dr.DeFont worked throughout the Bay Area and served in the US Army Reserves as a Captain. After the Army, Dr. DeFont returned to his hometown to establish a family and a state-of-the-art practice.
Dr. DeFont is a firm believer in lifelong learning to promote happiness and fulfillment in life. His residency and extensive continuing education have equipped him to provide the best care for you and your family, including specialist procedures using conscious sedation, implants and oral surgery, Invisalign® orthodontics, All on 4 implant bridges, and cosmetic dentistry.
